HERE ARE A FEW OF MY MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION I HAVE NOT YET ANSWERED HERE, I WOULD BE HAPPY TO ANSWER YOU BY EMAIL.
1. HOW DO I BUY AN ORIGINAL PAINTING?
You can get in touch with me regarding any of my available works I have on my Available Paintings page. I am also accustomed to working on specific commissions, tailored to your unique space.
2. CAN I COMMISSION A PAINTING?
Yes! Please email me to discuss. Typically a commission takes me around 3-4 months to complete. Once a 50% deposit has been received to begin, I will work on several source images for you to choose from that will represent the direction for your piece. The final 50% is due upon completion, once approved, prior to shipping.
3. PRINT QUALITY & DETAILS
All reproductions in my shop are Giclee reproductions and are created using a huge, very fancy printer that uses a wide range of archival inks applied so finely you cannot see the DPI a bit and are very long-lasting. They are printed on gorgeous high-quality 100% rag Hahnemühle archival paper.
All Reproductions are printed to order by my local print house which takes approx. 5-10 days.
All monoprints in my shop are printed on mylar paper. I then paint on the mylar print with oil paints, allow this to dry and mount these onto archival mat board. I have devised a way to mount mylar so that the beauty of the material and the painterly quality is showcased. I do this by top slit-mounting the mylar sheet onto mat board. I then provide an acid free foam core backer so that the monoprint is all ready for you to frame!
Due to the hand applied nature of the painted monoprint editions, each piece will vary slightly.
I offer five different custom ash wood frames made specifically for the painted monoprint editions. These can be purchased along with your monoprint in my shop, here. I also offer framing for my paintings and prints. Please email me for pricing.
All Framing is produced to order by my local frame shop which takes approx. 5-10 days.
5. YOU WOULD LIKE A LARGER PRINT?
The prints I offer from original paintings have been created by scanning the surface of my paintings with an Uberscanner, the most sophisticated fine art scanning technology in the world. The quality achieved is incredible! I am able to print to larger sizes if requested, within reason, as the quality of the print is very important to me. Please email me to discuss.
Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care and as much clarity and transparency as possible. My goal is for you to be completely thrilled with your purchase! Because of this, all sales are final.
7. WORKSHOPS & CLASSES
The idea of hosting workshops has been something I have been considering for some time now and many people have approached me to provide this. I would love to do this, I just require the appropriate space, and that requires my backyard studio to be built. It is in the works, so please sign up for my mailing list to keep in touch and I will be sure to send out an email once I have something more lined up.
I love working with bloggers, editors, stylists, and writers! There are many images on my site that you are free to use for your articles. Please be sure to credit me. If you have any questions, please email! I am always open to interviews and love sharing my story with the world!
