ANOTHER YEAR AROUND THE SUN

Another year of striving for life balance with family, work and painting. I think I have come to terms with this ever elusive quest to find life balance. I realize now that this will never end, this is simply life.

And in life everything always changes ...

With these changes you can wallow in it, or use it as a starting point to focus on the things that really matter, the things that make you you, the things that feed your soul. I’m using this as a new beginning, to really slow down, taking care of myself, my health, my family and my painting.

A few months ago I painted this impressively large oval landscape. I’m loving the circular form and will be exploring this more! Over the last year I have been working on a series of Swans. I’m excited to finish them soon and send them off into the world.
