TIME

After four months of painting and filming I am so happy to be able to share with you the time lapse video of this painting!

All captured within three minutes, which is a pretty incredible feat.  The time lapse makes it look so easy.  While in fact, this was one of the most difficult paintings I have produced in a long time.  The complexity of colour and the vast amount of layers needed to create such depth really challenged me.  There was also the constant reminder that the camera was rolling, which made for an added element of stiffness that I had to overcome.  I am so glad I did, as this is now one of my favourite pieces and I absolutely love that I now have this record which peals away the layers of the process.
It really is such a joy to watch!

I have to give a huge mention to my brother, Joshua Wood, who is such an incredible musical talent.  He wrote this song for my Artist Portrait Video and then adapted it for my Time Lapse Video as well.  We thought it really worked since both have the same painting as backdrop.
